There are many ways you protect your teeth during your treatment with Dr. Susan McBeth. You brush your teeth after meals and snacks, floss regularly, and protect your mouth and appliances from being damaged by watching foods you eat and wearing a mouth guard during contact sports . But did you know about fluoride to keep your teeth sparkling and healthy during orthodontic treatment to protect against tooth decay and white marks around your braces during treatment?
Thank you to all of our patients who participated in our first annual Candy Buy-Back!
We received a large amount of candy that will be sent overseas to deserving soldiers. One dollar per pound of candy was given, and Dr. McBeth has matched the total dollar amount for the NWA Children’s Shelter.
This program not only helps keep teeth healthy and puts cash in the childrens’ pockets, but also keeps those extra calories out of the house!
We greatly appreciate all of our patients and look forward to making this an annual tradition!

An FSA (Flexible Spending Account) is a tax-free account that allows you to use pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible out-of-pocket health care or dependent care expenses. You choose an annual amount to contribute to your account, and your payroll deducts your salary contribution before calculating your taxes. Paying for eligible expenses with these pre-tax dollars saves money.
Did you know FSA dollars can be applied to orthodontic care? And if you do, here is a last minute reminder. Before it’s too late, now is the time to start thinking about allocating $$$ to your FSA account, for 2011. Not every employer offers FSA accounts. If you are unsure, call your employer’s human resource department and find out today.
At McBeth Orthodontics, part of our commitment to current patients in treatment and new patients considering orthodontic care, is providing exceptional customer service. This includes ensuring you understand and apply for all the benefits to which you are entitled, both insurance and FSA.
